ISNA: "Hezbollah aims at freeing Palestine"

Abuhassan Zaatir emphasized that the Zionist regime was an imposed regime to the Middle East, which its only purpose was to weaken Arab states.

"This regime was imposed to the region not because world powers were concerned about Zionists after World War II, it was because they wanted to create a base against the region within the Middle East," he said.

This official also regarding relations between Iran and Hezbollah and whether this organization would back up the Islamic Republic of Iran if the U.S. was to attack, this official noted that Iran and Hezbollah were not related only politically.

"We are like brothers, and if ever this happened we would most certainly aid Iran," he stated.
