Some coverage of Gaza events

A current AFP story is entitled: "Israel defiant on Gaza onslaught amid international outcry." Here is the last paragraph:
At least 307 people have been killed in Israeli-Palestinian violence, most of them Gaza militants, since the relaunch of peace talks in November, 102 of them since Wednesday alone, according to an AFP tally.
MPAC-UK has a really daft post which uses thumbnail images of newspaper front-pages to prove that that "the 'free-press' of the democratic Western" [sic] isn't covering the "Gazan Holocaust" Did you know that the NY Times had "Not a single word" about it?

Islam Online has a headline that reads "Israel Continues Gaza Killing Spree." There is also a reader forum feature entitled "Israeli Massacre in Gaza.. Let's Help" with some unbelievable comments. According to one commenter, "So this is one more reason of muslims suffering, making friendship with the infidels."

According to a slightly outdated story at Al-Ahram, "With political negotiations going nowhere, Hamas is preparing to unleash mass popular action to end the Gaza siege and reconfigure the strategic balance with Israel." They better do that soon.
