Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called upon the police to further enhance its role in ensuring social security and improving the traffic order. He said this at a recent national meeting of police commanding officers.They have to be vigilant to foil all World Arrogance plots, you see.
Referring to the achievements made in the field of social security in the past, he said that in order to successfully discharge its duty, the police should maintain good relations with the people.
The police should respect and protect the dignity of the people, he noted, adding that the police cannot fulfill its responsibility and duty without their assistance.
