On August 9, unarmed African-American teenager Michael Brown was shot to death by Officer Darrell Wilson, a white policeman, in Ferguson City, Missouri State, the U.S.Meanwhile, "youth and students" had "dancing parties" to celebrate something called "Youth Day." Korean News reports: "They were filled with boundless glory and happiness being blessed with the illustrious leaders generation after generation." And all we have is Obama.
Such serious racial discrimination in the U.S. sparked off world public uproar.
In this regard, Chae Mu Jin, a researcher at the Law Institute of the DPRK Academy of Social Sciences, told KCNA:
Fierce anti-racism protests are now taking place in across the United States over the death of black teenager. The world public termed this catastrophic situation a civil war.
However, President Obama has taken a carefree attitude toward the case, only expressing "regret."
His attitude angered the black community and all other people in the world. Protests remain strong in more than 100 cities of the U.S. and police ruthlessly crack down on protesters, leaving some of them wounded.
But, Obama is still keeping mum about the situation in his country, though he has talked much about other countries' "human rights performance".
This clearly shows that the U.S. call for "human rights" is no more than propaganda and Obama, its boss, is just a puppet without principle.
Obama, who has refused even to remain a human being to say nothing of a statesman, slandered the DPRK over "human rights" in cahoots with traitors to the nation during his trip of south Korea.
The Korean people will never forget such behavior and surely force him to pay dear price for it.

PressTV says Pals achieved lifting of blockade
The title is "Hezbollah praises Gaza resistance role in truce":
The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has praised the role of the Palestinian resistance in reaching a truce deal with the Israeli regime. On Tuesday, the movement issued a statement, saying the will, steadfastness, and persistence of the resistance brought about the Palestinians’ victory against the Israelis.More on the great victory here.
The Egyptian-brokered deal would not have been achieved without the resistance and that Palestinians’ victory would lead up to more triumphs, the statement read.
The Lebanese movement also voiced congratulations to Gazans and extolled efforts to reach a consensus on the terms of the ceasefire.
The truce, which took effect in the war-torn sliver at 19:00 local time (1600 GMT), will rid the territory of its seven-year-old blockade.
The truce stipulates the removal of Israeli blockade as well as the provision of a guarantee that Palestinian demands will be met.
Israeli warplanes and tanks started pounding the blockaded enclave in early July, inflicting heavy losses on the Palestinian land.
Almost 1,450 Palestinians, mostly civilians, including women, children and the elderly, were killed in 50 days of the Israeli onslaught on Gaza. Around 11,000 others were injured.
Tel Aviv says 69 Israelis have been killed in the conflict, but Hamas puts the number at more than 150.

PressTV discovers alliteration: "Palestine resistance retaliatory rockets rock Israeli cities"
Interesting mix of gloating and whining:
Palestinian resistance fighters in the besieged Gaza Strip have continued to fire rockets into Israel in retaliation for the relentless Israeli onslaught on the blockaded sliver.
The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, launched retaliatory rockets against several Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv, Sha'ar HaNegev and Sdot Negev, on Monday.
According to reports, four Israelis were injured in Ashdod.
Palestinian fighters also fired several rockets into the town of Eshkol, injuring at least one Israeli.
In addition, the resistance fighters launched attacks against a military base in the Negev Desert.
More than 2,130 Palestinians, including around 570 children, have been killed since Israel launched its onslaught on Gaza on July 8. Some 11,000 others have been wounded.
The United Nations says over 80 percent of the killed Palestinians have been civilians.
Nearly 400,000 Palestinian children are in immediate need of psychological help due to “catastrophic and tragic impact” of the Israeli war, according to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
Tel Aviv says 68 Israelis have been killed in the conflict so far, but Hamas puts the number at more than 150.

Why are Hamas and Islamic Jihad announcing that all their demands are about to be met?
Here is the Guardian:
Hamas talks of 'real chance' for Gaza agreement with Israel As truce is extended, negotiator says Hamas doesn't want more death but will only sign deal that meets Palestinian demands . . .A "real chance" as long as we get everything we want. I thought this was just the Guardian taking nonsense seriously, but here is Arutz 7:
Hamas believes there is a "real opportunity" to reach an agreement with Israel in Cairo negotiations to end the conflict in Gaza, saying it is "not interested in more bloodshed".
The positive signals from the Islamist organisation, which has fought a 30-day war with Israel, came after mediators brokered a five-day extension to the current ceasefire shortly before a midnight deadline on Wednesday. [...]
Egyptian mediators appeared to be striving for a two-part agreement. The initial deal would focus on easing Israeli restrictions on imports and exports, increasing the number of permits issued to Gazans to enter or travel through Israel, reducing the size of the no-go "buffer zone" inside Gaza's perimeter, and expanding the permitted fishing zone.
The second part, to follow some weeks later, would focus on Hamas's demands for a sea and airport, and the possible release of some Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the remains of two Israeli soldiers killed in the conflict which Hamas is believed to be holding as a bargaining tool. [...]
[...] An Egyptian truce proposal presented Tuesday "could lead directly to what we define as a breakthrough and give an answer to our demands," said the Hamas leader. What gives?
The Egyptian proposal offered an easing of the blockade on the Hamas terror enclave of Gaza, putting off larger Hamas demands such as a sea and airport, along with Israeli demands for a disarmament of Gaza, to be resolved in later discussions.
Confirming the Hamas leader's words, the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization's second-in-command Ziad Nahala said Thursday that a truce agreement is indeed imminent, and will include a guarantee to remove the blockade on Gaza.
Egypt talked Israel out of its security demands according to Nahala, who added that the discussions about a sea port or airport will be held a month after an initial truce agreement is signed. [...]

"IRGC Commander: Continued War Better Option for Palestinians" (Fars News)
If reports of a new ceasefire are correct, Hamas does not seem to be taking Iranian advice at the moment:
IRGC Lieutenant Commander Brigadier General Hossein Salami said given the biased ceasefire plan proposed by Egypt, continued resistance and war against Israel is now the best possible option for the Palestinians, adding that Hamas enjoys hidden war equipment and capabilities which will be used in later stages of the war.
"The plan proposed by Egypt meets the Zionist regime's interests and is not acceptable as it seeks to disarm the resistance, but we know that the damage inflicted on the Palestinians by a ceasefire is more than war," Salami said in a live interview with Iran's state-run TV on Saturday night.
Stressing that the Zionist regime has been defeated in close-range and street war against Hamas and other Palestinian resistance groups, he said the Zionist army cannot move on the ground no matter Palestinian tunnels are there or not.
"Their fighter jets can just bomb the Palestinians, and these bombardments are responded by the resistance's missile attacks," he added.
He also referred to the Israeli "iron dome" missile shield built to intercept and destroy the Palestinian missiles, and said the shield has proved efficient in only 20% of cases.
Salami underlined that the resistance missiles now have a range of 160km which means that the entire occupied territories can be covered by the resistance missiles and the Zionist regime is not able to stand against the flood of Palestinian missiles.
He said that despite the advanced technologies and equipment that the Zionist regime enjoys and its extensive intelligence operations, the Palestinians have been able to dig hundreds of kilometers of tunnels and the resistance's key leaders have escaped assassination which shows the Palestinian resistance's intelligence maturity and superiority.
Salami referred to the situation in the West Bank, and said, "Certainly, the West Bank will move on the same track paved by the Gaza Strip and will certainly be armed and turned into a battle ground, of course, they are now fighting with stone but Gaza also fought with stone and now has acquired missiles and drones and this will also happen there."
He also pointed to the opposition of certain Arab states with the resistance, and said the resistance questions the legitimacy of the Arab regimes which want Palestine, Lebanon and Syria to be killed by the Zionist regime so that they can be a regional actor and retain their legitimacy.
"Commander: Hezbollah Ready to Storm Israel" (Fars News)
Meanwhile, the Iranian pro-regime press contributes bluster to the Hamas war-effort:
No Israeli in the occupied territories feels secure due to the Palestinian resistance's missiles, Lieutenant Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami said, stressing that the Lebanese Hezbollah Movement is also ready to storm the Zionist regime by its high-precision missiles. "Today, all the residents in the occupied territories feel insecure and the security of the occupied territories is in an equation that on one side the powerful Hezbollah exists which is ready to storm the occupied territories and everyone knows the destruction power and preciseness of its weapons, and the other variable in this equation is the Palestinian resistance which has destroyed 11 tanks of the regime and damaged 48 others using good tactics, techniques, technologies, missiles, rockets and new weapons," Salami said in a live interview with Iran's state-run TV on Saturday night.
He underlined that the Zionist regime's failures started since the 33-day war against Hezbollah in Summer 2006, and then its failures continued in the wars on Gaza in 2008 and in 2012 which was faced with the Palestinians' more advanced weapons.
Salami, meantime, blasted certain Arab regional states for their opposition to the Palestinian resistance, and said, "The reason that the Zionist regime has chosen this opportunity for attacking Gaza is that they felt that the policies of the Arab regional states is more coordinated with the Zionist regime than the resistance."
He described Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan as three allies of Washington in the region whose policies are regulated based on the US and Israeli policies, and said the Americans have tried hard to replace the Zionists' threat to the region with the so-called Iran threat and create Iranophobia in the region.
They also sought to weaken and create instability in Syria in a move to undermine the resistance front, Salami added.
Hezbollah Leader Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah has vowed that his party will stand by the resistance in Gaza.
"Hezbollah and the Lebanese resistance will stand by the Palestinian people’s uprising and resistance in our heart, willpower, hope and destiny,"Nasrallah said in a speech in July.

"IRGC Official: Tsunami of Iran's Assistance to Palestine to Destroy Israel" (Fars News)
I used to frequently note uses of the word "annihilation" in the Iranian Press. This article uses it twice:
Head of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Public Relations Department General Ramezan Sharif described Iran's continued support and assistance to the Palestinian people as a Tsunami that will lead to the annihilation of the Zionist regime.
"Iran's unstoppable all-out aids to the Palestinian resistance and its growth and development into practical measures by the entire Muslim world will certainly make the Zionist regime face a destructive tsunami, big problems and a serious and strategic dilemma," Sharif said on Sunday.
He underscored growing coordination, synergy and determination of the resistance front against Israel, saying that resistance movements have now described the Gaza war as a ground for the annihilation and collapse of the usurper Zionist regime.
Sharif stressed that the missiles fired at Israel by the resistance forces have created distress, fear and horror among the Israelis and snatched sleep from the eyes of the Zionist leaders.
Iran has on many occasions helped the Palestinian nation in its fight against the Israeli occupation of their lands.
In July, the Iranian Red Crescent Society announced readiness to dispatch humanitarian aid, and rescue and relief equipment to the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza who have been under Israel's brutal attacks.
A few days ago and following first-time remarks by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, a large number of Iranian Army and IRGC Commanders underlined the necessity for all Islamic countries to supply weapons and military tools and equipment to the Palestinians to help them defend themselves against the Israeli attacks.
"This is the duty of the Muslim world to obey the order of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei) and arm the Palestinian people so that a powerful response will be given to the Zionist regime," Commander of the Army Ground Force Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan told FNA during the International Quds Day rallies in Tehran on Friday.
He said that the operational capacities of resistance groups in the region have made the Zionist regime desperate, and added, "The Zionist regime will not sit to the negotiating table unless the language of force is exercised on them and we have witnessed that the rockets fired by the Palestinians have created such a strange fear among the Zionists and they are now after truce."
His remarks came after Ayatollah Khamenei strongly condemned the recent Israeli attacks on the Palestinians, and underlined that Palestinians should continue their armed struggle against Tel Aviv.
"We believe the West Bank, too, should be armed just like Gaza and those who are interested in the fate of the Palestinians must work in this respect so that the pains and miseries of the Palestinian people will be decreased due to their mighty hands and the weakness of the Zionist enemy," he underlined in July.
Also last Friday, Lieutenant Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami underlined the continued resistance of the Palestinians against Israeli aggressions, and said no secure place has remained for the Zionists.
"Today, no point in the occupied territories is secure for the Zionists and the 33-day, 22-day and 8-day wars have caused an epic of resistance and today the Palestinian resistance's missiles are beyond the Zionists' expectations," Salami said addressing participants in Tehran's Friday prayers and after the International Quds Day rallies. He also predicted that the power balance will change to the benefit of the Muslim world soon in future. Salami warned the Zionists of Muslims' tough reaction and response to their crimes, and said, "We will chase you house by house and take revenge for every drop of our martyrs' blood in Palestine and this is the start of the Muslim nations' awakening for defeating you." "US political system ‘controlled by Jewish-Zionist interests’: Activist" (PressTV)
The "activist" is one Rodney Martin. Do a search for Rodney Martin and "World View Foundations" and you turn up an interview at a site called the "Daily Stormer," which also features an article entitled "Berlin Police Attacked by Mob of Non-White Bipeds." The present article is a bit blander than that:
The political system in the United States is “controlled by Jewish-Zionist interests” and “designed to prevent public participation,” an American activist and radio host in Los Angeles, California says. [...]
“The American political system and the American constitution is designed to prevent change and all this talk about impeachment is just designed to appeal to the Republican base” and “to try to fool the American public into thinking that there are two different parties when in fact there is not,” Martin told Press TV on Sunday.
“Under the American constitution, the American public has little to no say despite all the American rhetoric and bravado about democracy and the shining city on the hill and that the United States is going to bring democracy around the world,” he noted.
Martin said the only solution for creating real change in the US political system is a “Constitutional convention and a revision to the Constitution or a new Constitution that would allow for multiple parties, but these two parties that are basically controlled by Jewish-Zionist interests will never allow that because then they would lose their lock on power.”

First sentence of a Seumas Milne Guardian piece includes long-debunked factoid about the "world's fourth largest military power."
Here it is:
For the third time in five years, the world’s fourth largest military power has launched a full-scale armed onslaught on one of its most deprived and overcrowded territories.Referring to Gaza as a territory belonging to Israel is also a cute distortion.
"Israel’s Netanyahu benefits from shooting down of Malaysian plane" (PressTV)
PressTV doesn't quite get the full range of VT material, as the previous post illustrates--medium crazy is about right for them:
An American political commentator believes that Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu benefits from the shooting down of a Malaysian passenger plane because he can continue his atrocities in Gaza.
In an interview with Press TV on Sunday, Veterans Today editor James Henry Fetzer also rejected Washington’s allegation that Moscow was behind the incident.
“The report that the Russian weapons were used to down the Malaysian plane in Ukraine does not mean that Russia was involved or the Russian separatists in Ukraine had anything to do with it. What could Russia have possibly stood to benefit in shooting down this airplane?” Fetzer said.
“Russia has nothing to gain from this. Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu had everything to gain because it was occurring by remarkable coincidence at the very same time Israel is launching its massive inhumane savage slaughter of the Palestinian people in Gaza,” he added. [...]
"Alien Agenda V: World Zionists Play Russian Roulette With Alien ETs" (Veterans Today)
The author of this is one "Preston James, PhD." Something from the too-crazy-for-PressTV contingent at VT? Use of bold and italics follows the original:
Have Ruling Super-elite Deviants set up a Secret Cell of Nuclear Weapon Scientists to covertly and quickly develop advanced Nuclear Devices they can then deploy to depopulate Planet Earth by 90%, in order to avoid a threatened 100% Global Depopulation ” Reset” by Alien ETs which would include themselves? Are Dracos anything like Bacos?
Note: This article is written for retired military and Intel with advanced knowledge of Space War matters and Alien ET visitors.
If you have not examined all the evidence of such matters that was presented in previous Secret Space War articles, you are probably wasting your valuable time reading this and it will seem like nonsense to you.
You are not allowed to know this information by the Powers That Be (PTB). They don’t really care what you believe as long as it is plausibly deniable, but they have gone to extreme limits by controlling the USG, the Judiciary, the Major Mass Media and the Educational System to make sure you cannot know these things for sure.
The particular Alien ET group which allegedly made this Ultimatum in the first place which was communicated to this exclusive group by a spokesman is believed to be the Dracos.
This Ultimatum was reported by an insider and corroborated by another.
And it is believed by numerous insiders that these Dracos are represented by and aligned with the World Zionists (WZs) working out of the City of London Financial District and through their main Action-Agent Cutouts, Israel leaders and their Assets inside the American Establishment.
These stateside assets include NeoCons, PNACers, AIPAC, B’nai B’rith, Israeli-American Israeli-first Dual Citizens, and the private federal reserve System which is a franchisee of the City of London’s World Zionist private Central Bank.(1)
The information about this Final Warning seems to fit with numerous other reports over the last several years. If true, this warning carries some startling implications for the continued survival of the World Masses. [...]

"Israel seeking to mislead Hamas over rocket accuracy" (PressTV)
Rockets are actually "pounding Tel Aviv"! The reports of rockets falling in empty fields is just propaganda designed to deprive Hamas of the data it needs to adjust its aim. The author, one Gordon Duff, is a "Senior Editor" at that citadel of truth, Veteran's Today:
Are rockets pounding Tel Aviv? Experts who have examined the denials and press releases by Israel and here “media friends,” are giving a resounding “yes!”
One American military officer, a former commander of an air defense unit, said this of Israel’s propaganda campaign: “It is almost as though they dragged poor Winston Churchill” out of the grave.
News reports have Israel’s braving incoming Hamas rockets, “stiff upper lip,” while intelligence reports tell another story. There is panic, frankly, as would be expected considering the fact that Israel is used to having others do her fighting.”
Key to Israel’s strategy is something learned from Britain during World War II. Hamas rockets can only be targeted if impacts are reported and range and direction are adjusted, perhaps to pound downtown Tel Aviv.
What is being released to the news, citing rockets as landing “in the middle of nowhere” is an attempt to get Hamas to adjust range and direction and actually hit “the middle of nowhere.” What these reports actually mean is the rockets are not only accurate but that Hamas’ intelligence network inside Israel is doing a highly effective job relaying target data. [...]
Israeli air defense systems have destroyed buildings and killed Jews with missiles suffering booster failure and plunging into populated areas. Anyone threatening to report this inside Israel has a life expectancy of hours.
The idea that Hamas rockets are being intercepted successfully is almost funny. In order to simulate an interception, it would be necessary to place a slow flying drone in the path of an Israeli rocket and hope the two accidentally collided. If it was a “miss,” you could always self-destruct the drone and lie about it.
Washington Post lists enemy casualties as an obstacle to an Israeli military victory
Here is the paragraph in question:
THE LATEST mini-war between Israel and the Hamas movement is as unwinnable for either side as previous rounds in 2009 and 2012. Though it has stockpiled thousands of rockets and some longer-range missiles, Hamas lacks the ability to inflict serious damage or casualties; a new anti-missile system has blocked most of the warheads headed toward Tel Aviv and other populous areas. Israel, for its part, can target Hamas commanders and infrastructure in Gaza but probably can’t entirely silence the rocket launchers. A ground invasion of Gaza, for which troops are now being mustered, would cause heavy casualties and, if it destroyed Hamas, leave Israel with the task of governing the territory and its nearly 2 million people. The article bends over backwards to use balanced-sounding language, but that gives it all away. Hamas is constrained only by its lack of firepower, Israel lacks the stomach to cause the amount of damage necessary to stop the rockets permanently. That isn't normal military morality. You are allowed to win. The laws of war were not created to make fanatacism into a tactical and strategic advantage.

A quietly insane gem of a story
In which the "Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army" decides that "only when the commanding officers of the navy are good at swimming, can they lead the seamen and successfully carry out the naval operation for implementing the strategic plan of the supreme command even in vast expanse of sea" and orders a "drill":
Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, guided the drill for assessing the swimming ability of the commanding officers of the KPA Navy.Because for a truly first-rate navy, boats are optional.
The drill organized by the order of the supreme commander was conducted in such a way that the commanding officers of the East Sea Fleet and the West Sea Fleet of the KPA Navy simultaneously started in column formations up to the turn-round point at the distance of 5 km and swam back from it.
All the commanding officers of the East Sea Fleet and the West Sea Fleet took part in the swimming drill.
Kim Jong Un met the commanding officers prior to the start of the drill and told them that the assessment of their swimming ability was of weighty importance in rounding off the combat readiness of the navy and remarkably bolstering up the combat capabilities by making the training more intense just as the anti-Japanese guerillas did in Mt. Paektu.
He said that the commanding officers should become good fighters if the army is to fight well, adding that a modern warfare requires the commanding officers to be prepared not only politically and ideologically and in military technique but physically.
"The commanding officers are not qualified if they lack physical ability, no matter what good ideological and moral qualities they have and no matter how high military and technological qualifications they are possessed of as they should stand in the van of the combat ranks," he noted.
"When the commanding officers are fully prepared, they can always lead intensive training of service personnel, shouting "Forward, following me!" not "Charge ahead!" he said.
Saying that the seamen should acquire high ability of swimming, he stressed that only when the commanding officers of the navy are good at swimming, can they lead the seamen and successfully carry out the naval operation for implementing the strategic plan of the supreme command even in vast expanse of sea.
The commanding officers renewed their resolution to fully display the might of Kim Jong Un's Navy in the assessment event, regarding the drill for assessing the swimming ability to be staged before the supreme commander as a battle field without gunfire.
He issued an order to start the drill.
The participants fully demonstrated the swimming ability they have cultivated in their day-to-day training, displaying great persevering strength, will and team spirit.
The West Sea Fleet was highly appreciated at the drill.
Then followed the assessment and review of the drill.
He expressed great satisfaction over the successful drill and set forth tasks to be fulfilled to round off the combat readiness and bolster up the combat capabilities of the naval units including the work for making swimming drill a rule and part of life of the seamen so that they may satisfactorily perform their combat missions under any circumstances. "Kim Jong Un Guides Test-fire of Newly Developed Ultra-precision Tactical Guided Missiles"
"Not an inch of deviation"--that's how they like their missiles and their ideology:
Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, guided the test-fire of newly developed cutting- edge ultra-precision tactical guided missiles.
At the central monitoring post he acquainted himself with the tactical and technological information of the newly developed guided missiles before giving an order to test-fire them.
The moment the guided missiles soared into the sky with thunderous roar.
The test-fire clearly proved that the tactical guided weapons didn't have an inch of deviation in their scientific and technological performance.
They are another shining success made by scientists in the field of national defence and workers in the field of munitions industry in their efforts to implement the WPK's policy of manufacturing high-precision, lighter, automatic and intelligent weapons and equipment.
The test-fire helped the KPA get the master key to putting all strike means including short-, medium- and long-range guided weapons on ultra-precision basis of the world level and opened a prospect for maximizing their striking accuracy and power.
The successful test-fire at a time when the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime and all other allied forces are going extremely reckless in the moves to isolate and stifle the DPRK and unleash a war of aggression marked a significant event in bolstering up the defence capability for self-defense. This greatly encourages the service personnel and people of the DPRK.
Kim Jong Un expressed great satisfaction over the results of the test-fire.
Expressing belief that the officials and workers in the fields of national defence science and munitions industry would manufacture more ultra- precision tactical guided weapons capable of taking the decisive initiative in any operation and battle of the modern warfare through accurate preemptive strikes, always bearing in mind the expectations of the party and the people, he advanced new tasks to be fulfilled by the field of national defence science and technology. "ISIL Takfiri militants, tools of Zionists: Analyst" (PressTV, of course)
The "analyst" turns out to be Kevin Barrett, but I would take this article as a peek into the Supreme Leader's brain. Poor dears, they're melting down:
Takfiri militants currently wreaking havoc on Iraq are operatives of the Israeli regime, an analyst writes for Press TV.Judging from the tone of the press coverage, the West has not yet figured out the happiness part, but maybe it should be happy.
“The Takfiri terrorists afflicting Iraq – like the American invaders – are tools of the Zionists,” Kevin Barrett wrote in an article for the Press TV website.
The analyst was referring to the extremist militants from the al-Qaeda-affiliated Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) that reportedly captured two provincial capitals this week, namely Tikrit in the Salahuddin Province and Iraq’s second city of Mosul in the northern province of Nineveh.
Barrett said people in Iraq and the entire Middle East have to “wake up” to what is under way in their countries and “then rise up and throw the Takfiri terrorists, Zionists, and occupiers out of the region.”
He added that the ISIL was created on the al-Qaeda model to pursue the interests of Western governments in the Middle East.
“So perhaps the Zionist-led West is perfectly happy to sit back and watch Iraq get torn apart by the ISIL,” wrote Barrett. [...]

"Khaled Mashal Hails Iran’s Drive to Help Resolve Syrian Crisis" (Fars News)
This actually ends by referring to "the consequences of arming militant groups":
Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas Political Bureau Chief Khaled Mashal in a meeting with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in the Qatari capital of Doha praised Tehran's commitment to the political solution of the Syrian crisis.
"Iran’s role in the resolution of the three-year-long crisis in Syria has been constructive," Mashal said during the meeting.
Mashal pointed to Israel’s negative role in Syria and its policy of exploiting the developments in the Middle East to its own advantage, and said, "The crisis in Syria can only be resolved through political means."
He called on the regional countries to play a more effective role in resolving the Syrian crisis.
On Wednesday,Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a meeting with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in Beijing voiced his concern over the ongoing Syrian crisis, and called for collective efforts to resolve the country's problems.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran has always felt concerns over the regional issues, specially the Syrian issue," President Rouhani said during the meeting on the sidelines of the Fourth Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in the Chinese capital.
Syria has been gripped by deadly violence since 2011. The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has put the death toll from the foreign-backed militancy against the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad at more than 160,000.
Western powers and their regional allies -- specially Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey -- are supporting the militants operating inside Syria.
As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the US government has boosted its political and military support to Takfiri extremists.
Washington has remained indifferent to warnings by Russia and other world powers about the consequences of arming militant groups.
