This is already old news in the blogosphere, but it demanded a post. From the AP via Backspin. Savor the irony:

Palestinian gunmen in Gaza Strip early Wednesday tried to kidnap the parents of an Evergreen State College student killed in 2003.

Five gunmen burst into a house and tried to kidnap Rachel Corrie's parents, Craig and Cindy. The gunmen eventually relented after being told who their targets were.

The Corries left Gaza safely after the incident.

Update: The Corries (Umm Pancake and Abu Pancake) are denying it happened.
