More Supreme Leader Blather

The higher up you are in the power structure, the more you have to speak in platitudes: "Expert views must be applied in areas connected with the duties of the Law Enforcement Forces." From Mehr News:
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei here on Wednesday said that all people from every religion and ethnic group and with any political disposition have the right to enjoy security without any discrimination.

"All ranks of people with any religion and ethnicity and also with any political disposition are equal in enjoying security and only those who cause problems for people should feel insecure," the Leader told a group of Police Academy cadets.

He also praised a scientific approach toward different social issues by the Law Enforcement Forces. "Expert views must be applied in areas connected with the duties of the Law Enforcement Forces," Ayatollah Khamenei added.

Pointing to the intricacies and complexities of the police job, the Leader insisted that police should observe "psychological and sociological" aspects when dealing with different ranks of people.

"The police must strongly continue with the 'social security plan' and avoid seasonal and temporary initiatives so that its goals are institutionalized in society," the Leader noted.

He said the establishment of security in society paves the ground for progress in different fields.

The Law Enforcement Forces should be "kind" to the people and "harsh" on anarchists and those who cause social disorder, he added.

He also called on the LEF to perform its duties without any regard to some oppositions and poisonous atmospheres.

"The ill-wishers of this nation see the success and dignity of the Iranian nation against the illegitimate interests they have defined for themselves."
