Mehr News: "Islamic Revolution was one of history’s greatest events: Ahmadinejad"

Did you know that the Iranian Revolution brought about the "recreation of human identity"? That's what Ahmadinejad says. Is he sure that wasn't an accomplishment of Kim Jong Il?
President Mahmud Ahmadinejad has described the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 as the greatest event in the history of humanity after the incidents that occurred in the first years after the advent of Islam.

"The Islamic Revolution has profoundly influenced all dimensions of human life… Independence and freedom are the main accomplishments of this revolution," Ahmadinejad said here on Tuesday at a meeting with the organizers of the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations (February 1 to 11), which commemorate the anniversary of the victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution.

"The Islamic Revolution happened at a time when human generosity had been destroyed. The Ten-Day Dawn not only celebrates the freedom and independence of the Iranian nation, it belongs to all humanity because it commemorates the recreation of human identity by the Islamic Revolution," Ahmadinejad stated.
