Seyed Ali Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, in a recent address to librarians and publishers, urged censors to be vigilant against harmful and poisonous books.I assume he means "Sayings of the Supreme Leader," and that sort of thing.
"Not all books are necessarily good. Some books are like poisonous and addictive drugs," he said. "We should provide the people with healthy and good books."
