I was reading an article on Arab uprisings by Samir Amin in Al-Huriyyah (the mouthpiece of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine). He makes an important point about corruption: how some people call for an end to corruption, like it is some ethical lapse, or some immorality, when it is an integral part of the capitalist system.
