Both of the upcoming media developments mentioned in the title have received some attention in the j-blogosphere. Gibson has been responsible in the past for failing to repudiate his denier father and for uttering statements himself that are suspiciously similar to things said by soft deniers. He isn't exactly our first choice for someone to produce a series on the holocaust.
Steven Speilberg's movie on the Munich massacre is similarly unpromising, and there are already strong indications of a spurious evenhandedness in dealing with the terrorists and the Mossad agents depicted in the film.
This, then, is an attempt to spawn this blog's first extended comment thread. What do you think? Which is likely to be worse for the Jews: Gibson's Holocaust Miniseries or Spielberg's Munich Movie?
