"It is definite that those who insulted the holy prophet of Islam are neither Jews nor Christians, but the likes of people who rejected the call of all God's prophets in the course of history," President Ahmadinejad told multitudes of people who thronged Azadi square west of Tehran to commemorate the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
"They are those who want to deprive human beings from the blessings of Islam's prophet," he said, vowing that the light of Islam's prophet will never die as the thirst for justice is increasingly surging in the world.
He likened the heinous act of Westerners as attempting to cover the face of sun with a handful of dirt.
He blamed Zionists for the profane and called on all world freedom-seekers, on behalf of the great Iranian nation, not to let a handful of Zionists dare insult Islam's prophet.
Ahmadinejad turned to Holocaust issue, asking why profaning the prophet is allowed in West but no one is allowed to question the holocaust issue. He described holocaust as "a myth on which the Zionist regime has been founded and makes Europe to budge."
He called the European governments 'hostages of Zionists' and said that the American and the European people are those who must pay out for such a hostage taking.[Bold in the original]
