IRIB: "Israel behind blasphemous cartoons"

File this under "almost not newsworthy." From Islamic Republic of Iran News:
A group of Iranians protesting outside the French embassy in Tehran on Sunday against the publication of blasphemous cartoons in European press announced that the sacrilegious gesture had been designed by the Zionists.

"We believe the move of European press in insulting holy Prophet of Islam is a gesture designed by Zionist lobbies and supported by governments of the countries in line with the West's war mongering policies; we notify the European states not to let the students' patience run out in dealing with those behind the conspiracy," said a resolution read out at the end of the protests outside French embassy on Sunday.
Isn't it a quaint notion that this is telling off France somehow?
The protestors also defended Iran's inalienable right to peaceful nuclear technology, saying, "We Muslim students consider Iran's access to peaceful nuclear technology as a small model of self-confidence of Muslim world towards all-out scientific progress."

They also voiced concern over movement of French regime towards state terrorism.

After the resolution, the students set flags of France and Britain ablaze.

They chanted 'Nuclear Energy is our Inalienable Right', 'Death to the US', 'Death to France', 'Death to Israel'.
They seem to have forgotten about Denmark.
