IRIB: "America, world's biggest censor"

This is an interesting accusation for Iran to aim at somebody else:
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Friday that America which prevents its nation from hearing world news is the world's biggest censor.

Ahmadinejad made the remark on the second day of his three-day tour of the northwestern West Azarbaijan province while speaking to residents of Maku city.

He then asked for the world people's testimony to America' refraining to welcome a call by the Iranian nation for a free and fair debate.

President Ahmadinejad on Tuesday invited American President George W. Bush to take part in a televised debate without any censorship so that Iran would put forward its views on ways to come out of the current international crises.

"America even hides news inside the country, a sample of which was seen during a hurricane in its southeastern areas which left tens of thousands of people killed and homeless," he told Maku people.

Pointing to Iraq war, he said the American officials prevent publishing news on the killing of the American soldiers in Iraq and tell lies to the American nation.

"The censorship was also seen in (the Zionist regime's) unfair attack on Lebanon," he said.

"The American officials publish news on victory of the Zionists. No news is published on brave resistance of Hezbollah because American officials do not intend its nation be aware of the facts," President noted.

He added, "America attacked Iraq for its oil. It was not against Saddam Hussein as Washington used to support Saddam against regional states for a period of 20 years."

Ahmadinejad added, "America should know that world people are currently vigilant and that the era of bullying and ruling over states has ended.

"The world will soon experience real peace and tranquility based on justice." The President cited lack of logic as another reason for Washington's refusal to enter a free debate with Iran, saying, "America has no logic to present. It is weak at Iran's logic and is deeply concerned over its defeat."

He further stated, "White House officials are also concerned their crimes will be disclosed in a free debate and that the world nations will be aware of faces which are against freedom and human rights but are hidden behind masks of support for freedom and democracy."
OK, Ahmadinejad can rest easy now. His message has been transmitted to the outside world.
