Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini said here on Wednesday that the destruction of the entry gates of the al-Aqsa Mosque is part of a devilish plan by the Israeli regime for eradicating religious and historical sites of Muslims.

According to a statement released by the foreign ministry's information and press bureau, Hosseini viewed the measure as an illegitimate and provocative action violating the sanctity of Muslims' first Keble.

He called on all Islamic countries and international bodies, particularly the Organization of the Islamic Conference and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), to show an appropriate reaction and take immediate measures to protect the holy Qods and its historical and religious sites and thwart the Zionist regime's racist and anti-cultural actions.

The spokesman further elaborated on the dangers of the current plot hatched by the Israeli regime to sow discord among Palestinians, and advised all the political groups and different wings in Palestine to show vigilance and safeguard their unity and solidarity against the hazardous plots currently practiced by the Zionist regime and lay the ground for the materialization of the exalted goals of the Palestinian people through vigilance, insight and concentration on the high ideals of their nation.

"Supreme Leader: US, Israel, Britain to Be Wrathful on February 11":

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said that the intelligence agencies of the US, Israel and Britain will grow very angry when they observe wide participation of the Iranians in February 11 rallies.

Addressing commanders and troops of the Islamic Republic army here on Thursday, the Supreme Leader described Enemies' psychological operations against Iran as an indication of their weakness and the state of paralysis they are in, and stressed, "Through its extensive and active participation in February 11 rallies, the Iranian nation will prove to the world once again that it is still continuing its path with full power and vigilance."

He further stressed that Iran is not intimidated by sanctions and plots, "as the Iranian nation, relying on its internal and external capabilities and potentials as well as its profound roots, has increasingly grown powerful and defused enemy plots ever since the onset of the Islamic Revolution."

Ayatollah Khamenei described US threats against Iran as a redundant issue, and reminded that all the sanctions and threats posed by the US and other western countries to the Islamic Iran since the victory of the Islamic Revolution have proved inefficient.

"Fear and surrender to enemies is a method used by those nations and officials who have not comprehended the power of national resolve, but the Iranian nation, relying on its successful experiences of the last 27 years will stand up to any enemy and threat," he underlined.

Meantime, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution pointed to the rumors about his serious illness and death, and said, "They think they can undermine the spirit of the Iranian nation through promulgating such rumors, but they should know that they are not confronting only one person in Iran, rather they have a nation in front of them that will defuse all their plots on February 11 and will pour to the streets to defend its Islam, Revolution and Iran."

Saying that Iran is not intimidated by rumors about US invasion of the Islamic Republic, the Supreme Leader warned Washington against resorting to such option, saying that such an action will be followed by "an all-out reaction from the side of the Iranian nation, who will target aggressors and their interests across the world."

"100 US, Israeli Spies Identified in Iran":

Iran's Intelligence Minister Gholam Hussein Mohseni Ezheh'ee here on Wednesday said that 100 American and Israeli spies have been identified across Iranian borders.

He said the spies, who worked for CIA and Moussad, intended to gain access to Iran's military and political information.

The minister also said that enemies have selected a number of Iranians inside the country and trained them in other countries, adding that his ministry has identified and arrested all the said agents of the US and Israeli intelligence services.

Asked about the US invasion of Iran, he said according to the latest information and data collected by the Iranian intelligence forces inside and outside the borders, Washington does not intend to attack Iran and that the rumors about a likely raid on the Islamic Republic have all been intended to serve as a part of psychological operations.
