Fars News: "Castro Praises Ahmadinejad's Bravery"

This calls for a bit of the Inter-Axis Mutual Admiration Theme Song:

It's a beautiful day in this axis-hood,
A beautiful day for an axis,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?

Won't you please,
Won't you please,
Please won't you be my lackey?
TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Cuban Leader Fidel Castro stressed that the courageous stances and decisions adopted by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in the face of global issues are proof to the fact that the Islamic Revolution is continuing its path mightily.

Castro made the remarks in a meeting with Ahmadinejad at a hospital in the capital city of Havana on Saturday.

During the meeting, the Cuban Leader praised the principled stances of Ahmadinejad and the anti-colonial direction of the Islamic Revolution.

"Your brave stances and decisions adopted in the face of global issues prove the fact that the Islamic Revolution is continuing its path very powerfully," Castro reiterated.

He further underlined the need for resistance by all independent states against the pressures and expansionist policies of the United States, adding that the US stances are increasingly becoming vulnerable, and final victory belongs to the resistant and independent countries of the world.

For his part, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad lauded the life time and independence-seeking campaigns and struggles of Fidel Castro and prayed to God for immediate recovery of the Cuban leader.

He also stressed resolve of Iranian and Cuban officials to reinvigorate and develop the existing ties.

Pointing to the United States' extensive interventions in the domestic affairs of the other countries and its military and non-military aggressions against other states, Ahmadinejad described Liberalism as a failed school of though, experiencing its demise, and added that world hatred for the arrogant attitude and expansionist policies of the US is on the increase, while the United States which is the symbol and manifestation of imperialism is moving on a steep slope towards annihilation.
