IRIB: "New round of resistance emerging"

More glowing references to the "martyrdom-seeking operations" against the World Arrogance bakery and a vague reference to "moves" to "destroy some sacred Islamic sites," which judging from recent hysteria, refers to the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The American conspiracy to sow discord among Islamic groups rings an alarming bell on the world of Islam, Secretary General of Palestine's Islamic Jihad Movement said Sunday night in an interview with the Islamic Republic of Iran's Channel Two "News Talk" program.

Ramadhan Abdallah said, "Along with some compromising Arabic states, America is trying to present the Islamic resistance as a terror and war-mongering act."

Referring to the failure of America and the Zionist regime against the Islamic revolution of Iran and the resistance of the Palestinian, Lebanese and Iraqi nations, he stressed that America and the Zionist regime want to take revenge from the Muslims by sowing discord among different Muslim groups and causing war and bloodshed.

Abdallah welcomed the idea that the Palestinian groups negotiate with the neighboring countries.

He also referred to some of the recent moves by the Zionist regime to destroy some sacred Islamic sites as an opportunistic approach of the regime amid the recent struggle between some Palestinian groups.

The Islamic Jihad Secretary General hailed the recent martyrdom-seeking operations in Palestine's Eilat city as a new round of resistance against the Zionist occupiers.

He underlined that these operations are new and unprecedented, adding that even top officials of the Zionist regime admit that the operation was unique.

"The operation showed that the Zionist regime's attempt to build a colonial wall and to kill innocent Palestinian people are not unanswered," Ramadhan Abdallah reminded.

Abdallah expressed hope that the groups will soon put aside their conflicts and unite against the American-Zionist plots.

"The Islamic Jihad Movement has always called on the struggling Palestinian groups to negotiate and come to peace and has warned America and the Zionist regime about their opportunistic approach," the movement's Secretary General said.
