IRIB: "Muslims should follow Hezbollah"

Are Friday sermons in Iran always about politics?
Tehran's Friday Prayers Leader, Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said on Friday he hoped America would learn from the Zionist regime's failure in Lebanon and allow Iran's peacefull nuclear issue to be solved vi negotiation rather than confrontation.
So far the Lebanese situation has not illustrated the efficacy of negotiated solutions.
"We hope that America will learn its lesson and will not enter a new conflict to disturb security in this region," Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said in his sermons to the thousands of worshippers.

Referring to the Leabanese Islamic Resistance Movement Hezbollah's resistance which brought about dignity for the world of Islam, the Friday Prayers Leader said that the road paved by Hezbollah should be taken by every country which sees itself under op pression and occupation.

Rafsanjani further insisted that Hezbollah's resistance was based on a humanitarian and legal basis because defending hometown is an inalienable right for everybody and Hezbollah just defended its soil against the Zionist regime's aggression.

"In contrast what the Zionist regime has done was a true example of war crimes," said the Prayers Leader, adding that the regim and its supporter, America, are the main factor of tention in the region.
