IRIB: "Palestinians push into 'Israel'"

This is an interesting example of crude pro-Palestinain spin and selective reporting from Iran's press. What follows is the entire article:
Palestinian combatants managed to push into 1948 occupied Palestine from central Gaza after a clash at the Zionist regime's 'Kissufim' border post.

The brave raid was carried out by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, saying it was a joint four-man operation with Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.

It was the first such operation since June 25, 2006 when the Palestinian combatants arrested a soldier of the regime.
The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades belong to "moderate" Fatah. Islamic Jihad is heavily backed by Iran. According to Ynetnews.com:
Abu Ahmed, a spokesman for Islamic Jihad, told local radio stations that the four gunmen were meant to snatch a soldier but the attempt was foiled when Israeli helicopter gunships arrived on the scene.

“The aim of the operation was to withdraw with the soldier in captivity,” he said, “but the participation of Israeli helicopters prevented that.”

IDF sources reported that look-outs identified a vehicle marked with "TV" insignia approaching the crossing from the Palestinian side of the fence. According to the sources, the Palestinians made an opening in the fence and infiltrated Israeli territory.

Update: Al-Jazeera refers to a "disguised vehicle" and ends with an interesting bit about kneecaps.
