Fars News: "Smallest Invasion of Iran Reciprocated by Devastation of US Interests"

I should make a list of the various sub-genres of Iranian news articles:
the Iran-will-not-budge-on-nukes article,
the death-to-the-fake-Zionist-entity article, the Iran-is-becoming-a-great-powerful-prosperous-nation-with-the-might-of-Islamic-Songun article, etc. The present article also exemplifies a whole category:
A high ranking military official said here on Friday that even the smallest move against Iran will turn into a grave blast in the region, devastating the United States' interests, meaning that the US is suffering a high level of vulnerability compared with Iran.

Brigadier General Ali Reza Afshar, Deputy Chief of Staff of Iranian Armed Forces for Propaganda and Cultural Affairs, told FNA that the Islamic Republic is proud to announced that despite running to armed forces, i.e. the Army and the Islamic Revolution's Guards Corps (IRGC), its defense budget is lower than those of the regional and western states.

He further pointed to the recent unrests at Iranian borders, and said investigations have proved that the foreign countries, specially the United States, have directly and indirectly been involved with the incidents.

"For instance, the confessions made by those who were arrested in connection with the terrorist blast in Iran's southwestern province of Khuzestan showed that they had received the need trainings and weapons from the British troops deployed in Iraq," the General said.

He continued, "The US always strives to reject its involvement in terrorist acts and charges us with state-sponsored terrorism. But the real supporter of terrorism is the one who is opposed to the Nuri al-Maliki's administration in Iraq."

The official reminded that Iran has always voiced support and strove to assist the Iraqi government with the successful establishment of security in Iraq.

He reminded that the US is trying to project its failures and weaknesses on other states, and said that due to the same reason, unrests at the Iranian borders are perceivable as far as trans-regional forces are deployed in the region.

Asked about the US threats against Iran, he said, "Even if these threats are aimed at pursuing psychological goals, they have gifted increased level of preparedness to the Iranian armed forces. The growth of Iran's defense capabilities has proved to be tangible in recent years, and the very same level of preparedness is a deterrent factor discouraging enemies' aggression against Iran."

"They speak of limited operations and targeting strategic points of Iran, but they should beware that once enemy embarks on starting the war, ending the war will not be under his control, and even the smallest move against Iran will turn into a grave blast in the region, devastating the United States' interests, meaning that the US is suffering a high level of vulnerability compared with Iran," General Afshar underscored.

"We have tried to gain high levels of preparedness in those areas that the enemy always announces as its points of superiority, such as naval capabilities. Our success in this area has been fully effective so much so that the US cannot pose any threats to us neither in the Persian Gulf nor in the Sea of Oman," he reiterated.
