I think people are now going to see that we really had a fairly a lively interplay between the two parties up until now. The Democrats don't have a big enough majority in congress to force the advance of their agenda, which is the situation the Republicans were in before the election. Republican "control of all three branches of government" was always a myth. Slight preponderance yes, "control" no. We are now in for a nastier version of the gridlock we had previously.
