The affiliates of AL Gofra-based Armed People units sent a cable of congratulation to the Leader of the Revolution, the Supreme Commander, Chairman of the African Union on the 40th anniversary of the al Fatah Revolution."Jamahiriya" is explained by Wikipedia as "a neologism coined by Muammar al-Gaddafi . . . intended to be a generic term describing a type of state, like a 'republic ruled by the masses.'" That's what the "J" is for in JANA. I guess "Jamahiri" is an adjective form.
The affiliates said our victories which coincided with the anniversary of the blessed month of Ramadan and the anniversary of the conquest of Makkah reflect self-confidence and our ability to promulgate the Jamahiri thought.
They expressed their commitment to the revolution and the Leader.
