IRIB Radio: "Worldwide Reflection of Iranian President's Epistle to the American People"

Did you know that Ahmainejad's last letter "was instrumental in the Republican Party’s recent defeat"? Read on:
The historic and transparent epistle of Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the American people has had a wide reflection among world political circles, news media, American people and even conscientious Christian priests in that country. Prominent priest Bill Mc Guinness writes in this regard, the Zionist lobby has blocked the way for any criticism of Israel or defense of Palestinians. He writes the moral points mentioned by the Iranian president in his letter are excellent. The priest also agreed with Ahmadinejad’s criticism of US president George W. Bush. Mc Guinness reiterates that Bush is passing his last days; the US president speaks but his words have no power and if he were to exceed his limits and abuse his powers, this time the new congress will confront him, demand investigation and there is the possibility of impeachment and trial of Bush for his war crimes. The priest said that many of the mistakes of Bush have been exposed and the US people are now aware of his sinister nature. He regretted that in the US no one is allowed to question the legitimacy of the Zi9onist entity, Israel and all this is for the sake of the Jewish lobby that strives in line with Israel's interests. Mc Guinness said it was a matter of regret that pro Zionist elements in the US wield great influence on the US Administration. He said that this has made people fear of being labeled as terrorists and anti-Semitic if they were to voice support for the oppressed Palestinians, who are actually more Semitic than the people of Israel.

The Media’s View of the Iranian President’s Epistle to the American People

The British daily News termed the initiative praiseworthy saying Ahmadinejad had also written a letter to the US president earlier, but George W. Bush, who was caught on the wrong foot, tried to hide his fears by refusing to reply on the pretext that no mention had been made in it of Iran's peaceful nuclear activity. The bureau chief in Tehran of Qatar’s al-Jazeera TV said in a report that this is the 3rd initiative by the Iranian president regarding the US. He added, in May he wrote a letter to Bush and in August he proposed a TV debate with him but Bush did not respond to any of them and now Ahmadinejad has decided to talk directly to the US people. AFP said Iran's president has put the question to the US people that now Iraq has a constitution, government and parliament and isn’t it in the US long-term interest of the US to withdraw its occupation troops home and spend the astronomical military costs that it is incurring in Iraq, on the American people's welfare?

Channel 4 of BBC Television said: The Iranian President has asked the US nation to reject Bush's foreign policy. In its internet edition, US Today wrote: In this letter US voters have been praised for their role in defeating Republicans in the November elections and this letter also talks of the extensive condemnation of US policy in the Middle East.

The Pakistani Urdu language daily Jang has pointed to the details of the Iranian president's letter and said: The misconduct of White House leaders in Iraq has given more power to the terrorists and the region is drifting towards instability.

Dubai’s al-Arabiyya TV network said that by sending a letter to the US nation, Ahmadinejad has held the US regime responsible for the massacre hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens since the occupation.

US TV network Fox News reflected the news of Ahmadinejad's letter in several news bulletins and discussed its reflection among the Americans and some political experts.

Reaction of Mid-Ranking White House Officials

Let's see how the mid-ranking officials of the White House have reacted to the clear and explicit letter of the Iranian president. For example, the US ambassador to the UN, John Bolton, who is regarded as dyed-in-the-wool supporter of the illegal Zionist entity, Israel, in his initial reaction to Dr. Ahmadinejdad’s thought-provoking letter to the American people said: I still have not read the letter but I have heard it is a 5-page letter not a 18-page one that was written last May to President George W. Bush.

Tom Casey, visibly feeling concerned about the prospects of the awakening among the average Americans, tried to ignore it as publicity stunt. In a press conference he attempted to deny that the US government is opposed to justice and resorts to threats, saying: There is nothing new in this letter.

Casey said the US does not agree with Ahmadinejad's proposal to withdraw US forces from Iraq. It was clear that the White House was highly concerned of the effect of the Iranian president’s letter to the American people, in view of the fact that last May’s epistle of Dr. Ahmadinejad to George Bush with its references to justice, religious sentiments and whether Prophet Jesus would agree with the warmongering policies of the American administration if he were to return today, was instrumental in the Republican Party’s recent defeat in the Congress elections, since most voters in the so-called Christian Belt decided to break ranks with the Republicans.
This thing is a feast of Iranian paranoid fantasy.
What is the Message of the Iranian President to the American People?

Let's take a look at Iraq. Since the start of the illegal and unwanted US military presence in that country, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis have been killed, maimed or displaced. Terrorism in Iraq has grown exponentially. At the same time, despite empty claims of reconstruction, nothing has been done to rebuild the ruins, to restore the infrastructure or to alleviate poverty. The Bush regime cooked up the story of existence of weapons of mass destruction to attack Iraq, but no such weapons have turned up, proving that it just a lie and a deception.

Although the Americans removed their surrogate Saddam since the Ba’th minority dictator had outlived his purpose of serving the US, the pain and suffering of the Iraqi people persists and has even been aggravated, thereby confirming the fact that the Americans are actually the enemies of the Iraqi people, who were forcibly kept under decades of Ba’thist tyranny by the successive administrations in the White House.

The Iranian president in his epistle to the American people, said he doesn't want to point to all the shortcomings and problems and added:
You have certainly heard the tragic accounts of Guantanamo and Abu-Ghraib prisons, and the Bush regime’s attempts to justify them through its so-called "war on terror." But everyone knows that such behavior, in fact, offends global public opinion, exacerbates resentment and thereby spreads terrorism, and tarnishes the US image and its credibility among nations.

The US administration's illegal and immoral behavior is not even confined to its borders. While civil liberties are being curtailed in the US, you are witnessing daily the wars and bloodbaths unleashed by the American government on other countries under the pretext of "war on terror." Even the privacy of individuals is fast losing its meaning. Judicial process and fundamental rights are being trampled upon.

Questioning what the blind support for the Zionists by the US administration has brought for the American people, and what this illegal entity has done for the US government, Ahmadinejad emphasized: I recommend that in a demonstration of respect for the American people and for humanity, the right of Palestinians to live in their own homeland should be recognized so that millions of Palestinian refugees can return to their ancestral homes to decide the fate of Palestine in all its entirety through a referendum. This will benefit everyone, and help regional and international peace.
